About
My name is Yoav Landau - I am a London-based Israeli musician, audio engineer and music producer.

I have over a decade worth of experience playing, writing and recording music. Before moving to London I was a member of several independent bands, with whom I performed all across the country in local venues and festivals.
Since 2018 I've been making music with my solo projects The Gloom and Ragdoll Junkie. The Gloom's releases have been featured on publications such as Post-Punk.com.

I moved to London in 2021 and studied Audio Production (BA Hons.) at SAE Institute (the School of Audio Engineering).
At SAE I learned how to use industry-standard analogue consoles such as the SSL 4000 G+ and the Neve VR Legend, while polishing my recording, editing and mixing skills. I also learned how to work with a 24-track magnetic tape recorder, including alignment and maintenance.

Since relocating to London I started to collaborate as an engineer, instrumentalist and producer with local artists such as Eden J. Howells and Fran Lusty. Lusty's song 'Oceans Apart', featuring my musical production, was chosen to be "Song of the Week" by BBC Introducing Buckinghamshire.
